Thanks to leetcode for coding practise.

I am in amazon and was targetting only Facebook.
Total Exp: ~9 years.

• Interview Preparation:
  • Leetcode ~ 200 questions. I did mostly medium and very few hard problems marked under the tag for FB.
  • System design: *** the system design interview, youtube videos.
  • ML: had very minimal experience at amazon. Did the Google crash course for ML to ramp up and few youtude videos
  • Time of preparation ~45 days. Coding on weedkays after work and design and behavioral on weekends.

Interviews type: All virtual rounds

Screen round: I did not have a coding round. There was a manger who asked me about my projects. This call lasted ~25 minutes. It was a check for whether the interview will be more focussed on E6 or not.

Onsite/Virtual:

1. Coding: one hard leetcode questions: a BT question. one medium leecode: a very poplary subarray problem
2. ML round: They asked me to build a ML product from scratch. Focussed on bootscrapping and this article wil help you: https://eng.uber.com/michelangelo-machine-learning-platform/#They asked about ML concepts in between and questions about every componenet I proposed.
3. Behavioral: Full 45 mnutes. Be prepared this is very important for E5vsE6
4. Coding: One medium leetcode graph question and a popular variant of binary search on leetcode.
5. System design: a FB feature. Discussion was around push vs pull and lots of other things.
