Recruiter Screening
A recruiter reached out via call, asking about current job details and if I am interested in a switch. An interview was scheduled.
Interview - Round 1
It was a technical interview for 45 mins. The interviewer was mostly interested in my resume and previous experience. Then he asked me some basic-intermediate Java questions. He was done in 30 mins. Then I asked about the role, required stacks etc. for rest 15 minutes.
Interview - Round 2
It was a technical round of 60 mins. The interviewer grilled on Java concepts, starting from advanced OOPS paradigms to advanced exception handling (Make sure you have a strong hold over Java concepts). Then he moved to problem solving and asked 2 LC-easy questions.
He wanted a pseudo-code and was more focused on my problem-solving approach. He seemed satisfied with the solution.
In the end, he gave a typical SQL question to find the employee with minimum salary from each department. Again, he wanted to know my thinking approach and looked satisfied.
