Topics Covered : Operating Systems,Databases,Computer Networks,OOPS.
Outcome: ✅ Selected for Round 2
Participants reduced from 245-250 to 170-180.
💻 Round 2: Online Assessment (OA)
Task: Solve 2 Medium-level DSA questions in 45 minutes:
Minimum Path Sum (a variation of the LeetCode problem)
Detect and Print Cycle in a Linked List
Outcome: ✅ Selected for Round 3
Participants count reduced to 15-20.
🤝 Round 3: Technical Interview 1 (First Hurdle)
This 1 hour 30-minute interview was conducted by a Senior Software Developer.
Topics Covered:
Introduction and Projects: Walkthrough of my work and contributions.
OOPs Concepts: Focus on Inheritance and Ambiguity.
OS Fundamentals: Deadlock conditions and Resource Allocation Graph (RAG).
SQL Queries: Write a query to find the 2nd largest salary and explore Joins.
Design Question: Design a college campus using OOPs concepts.
DSA: Deep dive into the Merge Intervals problem (discussing multiple approaches).
Outcome: ✅ Cleared with positive feedback!
Participants reduced to 12.
⚙ Round 4: Technical Interview 2 (Second Hurdle)
Another 1 hour 30-minute grilling session, this time with the Head of the Technical Team.
Topics Covered:
Networking: Session Layer, Tokenization, OSI Model, and Topologies.
OS: Process stack and its role in recursion.
DBMS: Indexing, SQL queries, and subqueries.
DSA: Min Heap implementation (I stumbled a bit here 😅).
Coding: Solve a Linked List problem to create alternate node representations in O(1) space.
Outcome: ✅ Appreciated for my approach and moved to the next round with encouragement!
Participants reduced to 8.
💡 Round 5: Technical Interview 3 (Final Battle)
This was a 45-minute session with a Senior Member who had been with the company for 8-9 years. It was a mix of technical and personal discussions.
Topics Covered:
Projects: Insights into my projects and their purpose.
Resume Discussion: In-depth exploration of my skills and hobbies.
Logical Thinking: Solved a FizzBuzz problem.
Concepts: Brief talk on ASCII values.
Future Goals: My vision for the next 5 years.
Outcome: The round went well, but unfortunately, I didn’t make it to the HR round.
