I got a message from a recruiter on LinkedIn about a month ago. And then set up for an interview in a few days.
1) Technical Phone Round (1 hour)
2) 20-30 minutes LP
3) Code a Data Stucture (a type of tree)
I got feedback within 2 days asking for availablilities in 2 weeks for a virtual insite. I got my confirmation in a week or so with a schedule and the people I was interviewing with.
Onsite was 4 hours
Round 1: Sr SDM and SDE shadow
1 hour total with 30 minutes LP, 1 Open ended question coding question, kinda mix of operating systems, data structures and database principles
Round 2: SDM
1 hour and was 30 minutes LP, System Design question. Definitely focus on this. This stumped me on other onsites
Round 3: SDE
40 minutes (ended early) and was 20 minutes LP with a data structures question
I used the extra 20 minutes and used that to take a quick break before the last inteview
Round 4: SDE and SDE Shadow
1 Hour and I think this definitely my worst round. I think this was the bar raiser. It was 30 minutes LP followed by an algorithms question. I managed to get the algorithm after alot of stumbling and the ghost interviewer seemed to not like me but the main interviewer gave me a thumbs up so idk if that's a good sign.
Overall had a great experience interviewing, results are pending but at this point theres nothing else I can do so I might as well chill 😂
Preparation:
Alot of LeetCode (50-100 questions)
Review Data Structures
Gr***ing the System Design
