I have given a screening round a few weeks back in Databricks. I felt the interview went really well. They asked a question that is also found in some interview experiences here in the leetcode. I gave the optimal approach, coded the problem, and did a dry run. A few days back, they called and informed the feedback is negative. When asked about the specifics, they mentioned interviewer's feedback was not good. I asked for more specifics and told me that interviewer rejected citing ethical and integrity issues. I told, its a strong statement and asked about why did the interviewer feel unethical, they did not have an answer and mentioned they can not give more details.

If they felt that I knew the question before, and cited that as unethical, they should have detailed out instructions prior to interview telling candidates should call out if the question in interview matches the one they practiced in past.
