I applied to the new grad position way back in September, but they closed openings. They then reached out to me in March to begin interviewing again.
Phone:
I got through 1 and 2, but stumbled on 2 for a bit. I briefly talked about my approach to 3.
The recruiter then told me a day later that I would proceed onsite. We scheduled a virtual one and I had 3 rounds back to back.
Technical 1:
This interviewer I felt was very incompetent. He couldn't understand why I was using a BFS for the first question and didn't know what reservoir sampling was for the second question. Definitely cost me the offer.
Technical 2:
I felt this round went fine.
Behavioral:
Standard questions then K closest points to origin. Wanted a O(n) time solution. The interviewer didn't seem to be paying attention though and was reading something else off her screen. She had muted herself and I could see her moving her mouth and talking while I was talking.
Got a reject a week later.
