Status: 8 years exp as Java developer
Position: senior consultant at Verizon
Location: New Jersey

I was contacted by an Amazon recruiter and I had Online Assessment done in last week of April.
She called me immediately after I was done that I have passed and qualified for Virtual Onsite.

I was given two options, May 8 and May 29. I chose May 29.

There were 4 rounds and 6 interviewers.

1. First round was by an Amazon applied scientist. There was discussion on LP followed by coding test. I gave a solution but I wasnt able to finish imlementation.
2. There were 2 people in the second round. same format as first. I gave a solution and finished implementing on time. the interviewer did mention once that I am lil quiet.
3. For this one, I had more LP questions followed by OOP design question. (design amazon locker)
4. Last one was by the hiring manager, this was LP and system design (design Prime Video).

All interviewers were very friendly and It felt like they wanted me to pass! Everyone really liked the follow up questions I asked before I started implementing anything. they were very vocal about what they liked.
On the day of the interview I felt like I did pretty good. After thinking more I feel like I could have done better in some LPs.

Coding questions were from Leetcode medium.

Still waiting for result. I will update once I get an update. Really hoping to get an offer.

I got it.
I will be getting a formal offer by tomorrow!
