My interview experience 2020

This year has been very challenging for most of us but we must always try to get the best in every situation.
The Entire process was virtual and had 7 rounds in total.

Education: MTech from IIT
Years of Experience: 3.5 years at a Fintech Comapany

Previous Interview Experience:
Sep 2019 - BNY : Cleared but offer was not as expected in terms of Compensation
Dec 2019 - Amazon : Could not clear after 2nd round

Preparation:

Cracking the coding interview.
Lots of Leetcode (Easy and Medium).
YouTube videos (Tushar Roy, Gaurav Sen, Back2School).
Distributed Systems.
Strategy:

Round 1: HackerRank(1Hr)
This had 2 questions:

1. String Rotation concept
2. KMP Pattern seraching

Round 2: Techincal Interview(1Hr)

1. String Reversal using constant space

Round 3: Techincal Interview(1Hr)

1. https://leetcode.com/problems/flatten-binary-tree-to-linked-list/
2. https://leetcode.com/problems/number-of-islands/

Round 4: Managerial (1Hr)

1. Design Facebook - Talked about basic stuff, some concepts related to CDN, Database , sharding, etc
2. Coffe Vending Machine - Told to thik about possible test cases and scenarios

Round 5: Learnablility (1Hr)

1. I was given 2 days to prepare a topic- Bitcoin- Blockchain. It was required to give a presenation to the 6-7 people and then a Q/A on the same,. Two things were judged - Presenation skills and Technical Depth Covered.

Round 6: Hiring Manager round(1Hr)
This round was a general discussion round about the current work and behavioural questions. There was one simple question asked in the end related to LinkedHashmap based.

Round 7 HR
I got the offer after 1 week from my last round.
