AWS Dublin || Sde2 interview experience March 2025

I got an opportunity via referall the process consists of 7 rounds out of which one is OA and one is a phone screen.Once we clear them then 5 rounds of one hour each.
i am going to discuss about onsite rounds

this was a long and tiring process and strong emphasis was given on leader principles...where you have to share your previous work experience on a certain question. Also these rounds happens continuously and can be distributed at max over two days but back to back days...i had like 2 on first day and 3 on the second day.

  1. ROUND 1 - 2 LP and one coding question , this was a bar raiser round as the interviewer was not from the team which i was getting interviewed for.The dsa question was like most frequent page switches we have a log entry as an input. The lps went fine and i was able to provide code for the DSA round as well.

  2. ROUND 2- Only DSA, overall three questions based on arrays and matrix i was able to solve the first two question and explained the time complexity pretty nicely could not solve the third follow up question which was based on graphs as time was running out.Overall the interviewer seemed happy...

  3. ROUND 3 - 2 lps and one object oriented design question where they check about the logical and maintainable part of your coding no emphasis on DSA in this round, i was able to provide all the code and also successfully discussed few follow ups where we needed to apply inheritance etc.The interviewer was looking pretty convinced.

  4. ROUND 4- Hld of a weather forecasting website and 2 LPS , i was able to come up with a good design in short time, but missed having a load balancer..(stupid me)The interviewer still looked pretty convinced with my design choices and liked my lp related answers as well.

  5. ROUND 5 - Only LPs 3-4 grilling questions by the hiring manager i answered all of them honestly the bar raiser also should have asked just this not sure why he asked a small coding question..Overall in this round i would say i did pretty well..

Now waiting for a feedback from my Recruiter its been 3 working days maybe a couple of days more...i have my fingers crossed 😊....
