Application Process and screening:
I might have applied through PayPal portal(Not remember exactly). I received recruiter call and had discussion. She sent an OA, which i completed successfully. I think there were 3 questions and all were in range of Easy to Medium.

Round 1:
Type: DSA Round

First we had brief introduction from both sides, and then we moved on to the questions. The interviewer asked 2-3 SQL questions. Few questions around basic problem solving skills and SOLID. I didn't remember much from this round. I was expecting DSA but There wasn't any specific DSA problem.
Verdict: Lean hire

Round 2:
Type: Design(HLD) Round

After introduction from both side moved to design question. First he asked few question sround design pattern and its usage. I didn't remember exact question. it was around something in which we should use Async processing and notifying to client. Overall it went well from my side.
Verdict: Strong hire

Round 3:
Type: BR Round (Design-HLD + DSA)

First he started with DSA question related to graph. it was boiled down to find diameter of given graph. I wasn't able to pick up i wrote brute force code from finding distance from one node to every other node. It passed given 3 tests but hidden ones were failing. He asked me to spent more time if i want. I spent some time but didn't get through. I asked him to move ahead. He asked design question which is having front end UI. When user adds cart it doesn't show up in UI immediately. I quickly understood that we need to use Async processing as soon as user adds item to cart. To make it faster i told about use of cache and using master slave architecture to make reads faster from DB. He seemed convinced with the provided solution.
Verdict: Lean hire

Round 4:
Type: Managerial Round

We had detailed introduction and he asked questions around handling different situations which occurs in day to day life of developer. I have share instances around which explains the situation. I have used STAR pattern to answer his questions. We started discussing about morals. he told about his family and where he came from. When he asked for mine my eyes were teary. Overall it was great discussion with him. He was really a great person.
Verdict: Strong hire

I wasn't expecting moving forward after round 3 as not able to pass all tests in graph question but it happened and finally got the offer.
