Bloomberg Interview process:

1. Phone screen:
   • Asked vertical order traversal
   • https://leetcode.com/problems/two-city-scheduling/

Got results within in night about moving for further rounds.
Virtual Onsite:
2 rounds both coding.

1. Coding round1:(1 hour 30mins round)

   • Two interviewers, question: Recommendations system, this question was bloomberg internal question and they pasted whole statement. I disucssed and implemented some solution and explained complexity and approach.

2. Coding round 2:

   • Again coding question and this was also bloomberg internal question. Given multiple request coming in and we have to print order of them, all request have client_id and request_id, here request_id is increasing number and client_id with be unique like:
   • (A, 1)
   • (A, 2)
   • (B, 3)
   • So implement a system to serve all clients fairly.
     I did muy best to slove this question, explained my approach, data structures used and then started implementing. But was not able to completly run on examples.

After this round, i was asked HR will get back to me. To which i thought there is no chance m gonna get next rounds, so i did not bother HR for 4 days and then i did not receive any rejection mail hence I planned to ask for update and to my surprise they liked my performance and asked for further rounds. Now i have another 4 rounds where m likely to speak with senior members of team. Will update here on further process.

Another round or interview:
Had 4 rounds all behavioural and understanding team and work.

1. Talking to Team lead, asked questions about current work, challenging projects and failure in project. And expained about his role in current company and team and work.
2. Talking to Manager of team, Same as above.
3. Talking to very senior manager of whole organisation for which i was interviewing for. Asked same questions as other two interviewers but also discussed couple of projects mentioned in my resume.
4. Talking to HR, aske to walk through my resume and questions around it. Salary expectation etc.

After these rounds HR said they will let me know decision next week. So waiting for results, will update post again.

Preparation: I tried to slove leetcode Bloomberg tagged questions and it helped somewhat.
