- Solved both. All test case pass.
Behaviour round (1 hour):
- LP questions (standard amazon behavoir questions) (45mins)
- Almost everthing in this list
- Do you have any questions ? (15 mins)
Possible bar riser- It started well. able to tell the stories I prepared. but at the end, I started answering with stories that came to mind at that time. This is not a good sign. All the stories you are telling in the interview should be prepared, rehersed before the interview.
- This round is fail.
System Design Round (1 hour):
- Behavioral questions (standard amazon behavoir questions) (30 mins)
- System Design question (25 mins)
- Design that interviewer team is working on or already worked. This is easier than everything I studied.
- Do you have any questions ? (5 mins)
- I had too many questions, Interviewer answered all. He seemed happy with the question. none of the questions were stupid question. The final result that I present is a good. He said, it is very good.
- This round is pass.
OOP Design Round (1 hour):
- Behavioral questions (standard amazon behavoir questions) (30 mins)
- OOP question ( 25 mins)
- World Famous "Parking lot"
- Link to discussion - Do you have any questions ? (5 mins)
- Had struggle in the begining, able to finish.
- Interviewer was happy
- This round is pass
Live Coding round - 1 (1 hour):
- Behavioral questions (standard amazon behavoir questions) (30 mins)
- Algorithm question ( 25 mins)
- Do you have any questions ? (5 mins)
There was another interviewer shadowing this one- Solved it with optimal solution. Interviwer was happy with the result. had good conversation during and after solving.

Live coding round - 2 (1 hour):
- Behavioral questions (standard amazon behavoir questions) (30 mins)
- Algorithm question ( 30 mins)
- Do you have any questions ? (0 mins - had to skip )
did not get enough time to code completly- Interviewer liked the approach and happy with the way I was solving. I have solved all the other 3 problems perfectly, so it should not be a red flag.
- This round is neither pass nor fail

Tips:
- Go back and prepare one pager for everything(good, bad, etc) that you did in atleast 2 projects in past. It will be helpful to answer LP. You will run out of all the things that you prepared unfortunately. Do you have enough to talk for 3 hours ???
- On the day of interview, just go over this list and pick few question. Atleast 3 questions per interview round - Reverse interview. You will be given atleast 5 mins by every interviewer to ask them questions. This does not count to your score, but it helps to create good ending impression, it might help when they huddle up to decide your final result.
- I cannot stress enough on LP. That is more important. You will get hints for code. but for LP, you will be left on your own for hours. Please prepare well. spend time on it.
My Observation:
- Interviewers were very professional and very helpful. They always jump into help.
- Leadership principles are not equally important, it is more important. 60% my interview was LP.
- I was nervous before interview. We really dont have to. Interviewers are helping by throwing hint, only thing is that, you have to catch. I catched few, missed many!
- I am very good in coding. no doubt about that. but when it comes to LP, I am not that good. Keep in mind, Amazon is not just looking for someone who can write code. LP is everything to Amazon.
- I saw some post about interviewers not paying attention when answering. that is not true. They need to submit our responses, most of the time, they may be typing. if they are typing that is a good sign. dont worry about it.
Result:
Reject, (mostly because of LP. I have not prepared well. I ran out of stories. )
