Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn. Gave a hackerrank test, it had 2 LC Mediums. Verdict: Passed.
Next round was on Coderpad+Zoom videocall. 1st Question was on grid based DP and 2nd was on Pascal's Triangle. Verdict: Passed.
3rd round was again on DSA. 1st Question was Find Subarrays whose sum is 0. 2nd Question was Meeting rooms 2. Solved the first one perfectly and wrote working code for the same, messed the 2nd one a bit but gave the correct approach, my code missed a few edge cases. Interviewers were happy. (Interviewers were very helpful & helped a lot throughout the interview. Plus points to them here.) Verdict: Passed.
4th round was Software Design Principles, was asked to do HLD of my application and they had back to back questions about it. Be prepared as you won't even get a second to draw the architecture while responding to their questions. Verdict: Passed.
5th Round: Interviewers joined late & seemed a bit uninterested. Asked about a few general questions about why I want to switch. Then later on asked me to do HLD of their application's Billing System. I won't blame the interviewers since I might not have prepared alot but they were not too helpful and asked to end interview 15 minutes early when they saw me struggling instead of helping me out. Verdict: Failed. Need to study HLD more.
Overall experience was good. HR was very understanding. I had my vacations planned in advance and HR was kind enough to not keep interviews on those dates.
LC Stats: Almost 650 questions. 350 meds, 50 hard and rest easy.
