Reached out to multiple manager and HR. Fortunately one HM replied and asked the HR to consider me for another team for the role of System Software Engineer.

First round was with the HM. It was more of a getting to know each other round.

I didn't had much expecations that HM would consider me for further rounds. As it was my third company and he was not very satisfied with so many switches. More about my project, tech stack and one question about concurrency handling. But couple of weeks later HR informed me that they wanted to go ahead with first technical round.

Program to print both the left view and right view of a BTree in a single API.

Was able to come up with the solution. Later on questions related to designing of a Parking Lot, in depth questions on polymorphism and virtual functions.

Few days back I reached out to HR and told me I was selected for further round. But after that didn't heard back for almost two weeks. Later HR told me they will schedule the Second round in next week.

In this round there were 3 interviewers.

Program to reverse the Linked List in group of k.
Program to find minimum number of tunrs required to reach one node from another.

This time they asked me to write the program from scratch, meaning I had to implement the LL or BTree and also write the solution. For first question was able to write the solution but wasn't getting the output. For second question I told logic is based on Lowest Common Ancestor (LCA) but wasn't able to tell the whole logic. So one interviewer asked to write the LCA logic first, then later asked to write how to print the path from LCA to a given node. Later on few in depth questions on static function, virtual function, operator overloading, constructor and desctructor. And that was it.

I knew I just fu**ed up. I was desperate to get into Nivida but I knew given market scenario only rejection would be the outcome. HR did informed me about rejection a week later.

Siemens EDA

A HR reached out to me. Probably the role was that of MTS-2.

First Introduction.

Program to write a custom function to implement vector.
Was able to write the program.

Then couple of questions based on pointer to a pointer. Wasn't able to tell the output correctly.

Then was asked to write a custom function for Shared Pointer.
For this I wasn't completely prepared for. Couldn't write the logic properly for operator overloading in Shared pointer and how to maintain the reference count.

Minimum Number of Cameras Req in a Binary Tree.

I was thinking the logic properly, it was Back Tracking and DP, but my mistake was I asked interviewer for a help and he said to think about preorder traversal and postorder traversal. And I diverted my mind completely there. Couldn't write the solution.

Find an element in a rotated array.

Did write the code.

Again I knew I would be rejected. HR informed me of the same.

Avalara

Applied directly in Careers portal for a Java based Role.
Few days later got link of Aptitude Assesment. After that almost couple of weeks later I reached out to HR via mail and my interview was scheduled.

It was a simple greedy based approach question. Later on questions about Pointer, memory management, SQL Query. Then had HM round on the same day. They asked few STAR based questions also. I did had a good experience.

It was on 2 Jan'25 I was informed by HR via whatsapp that I had cleared the interview. I was so happy and thought it was a gift to me by God. They asked to share last hike and salary slip. After that didn't heard back from HR for more almost 10 days. I had a bad feeling for this. I reached to HR on whatsapp and they told me that panel were concerned about my frequent switch and were ready to offer below my current CTC. All dreams vanished.

I did reached out to HR on Linkedin. And HR called me back immediately.

First Round.

Find Number of Pairs whose sum is a multiple of K.
Write custom Atoi function.
And few questions on Polymorphism.

Was informed by HR same day that I was shortlisted for next round.
In meantime before second round I did reached out some friends working in Siemens EDA on what to expect in Technical round. They all said BTree, LL and C++ questions. I prepared throughly on these topics.

Second Round.

Satisfiability of Equality Equations

Although I was able to come up with the solution the interviewer didn't seemed much happy with the solution. I used Union Find algo but he said my approach was right but I complicated the solution. It could have been simpler.

I knew I was going to be rejected again. I was demoralized, demotivated, felt like doing nothing, did lot of stress eating.

I feel like giving back to the community.
