Swiggy Instamart | Round 2 | SDE-1 | Interview Experience

After Doing all the three question in the Online assessment I appeared for the first interview (second round).

Brief:

• The interviewer asked 2 questions of DSA specifically to be solved in Java.
• We did it on LC platform itself. Don't know why other companies don't do it.

Detailed Overview:

1. For the first question I communicated Brute Force First and told the complexity. Then went with efficient solution and coded in one shot.
2. For the second question also I communicated Brute Force First but then started thinking for the more efficient solution.
3. Wasn't able to come up with a proper working prototype so the interviewer asked to code the Brute Force told above.
4. Coded Brute Froce in one go but only the last test case failed (TLE) as expected.
5. Asked for hint from the interviewer. His hint was helpful. I was able to come up with a prototype solution.
6. Started coding this and submitted the solution in order to know the last test case passed successfully but the first one did not pass. By this time the time was over.

Result:
Selected for round 3 | Second interview (LLD)
