Online Assessment

• medium question based on converting digits into a 24 hour time
• easy question based on logic
• one month after this, I found out I passed

Technical Phone Interview (45 min):

• Question asked was similar to

2nd Technical Phone Interview (45 min):

• Question asked was similar to
• https://leetcode.com/problems/confusing-number-ii/
• https://leetcode.com/problems/strobogrammatic-number-ii/
• One month after this, I found out I passed

Host matching step:

• Multiple interviews with intern managers who liked your profile
• Informal discussions about the project you will be working on
• Very rare to receive technical questions at this step
• If they like you and you like them, you can move on to the offer
• A few days after this, moved on to the offer

Result: Offer

Other Information

• I will be working from home this summer.
• One of the interviewers was very friendly and encouraging, while the other seemed more distant and quiet.
• Naturally, I felt that I did much better with the friendlier interviewer
• The host matching step is nerve-racking but also fun to meet people working on exciting projects.
• I had a few hosts who wanted me, but ultimately picked the one who was the friendliest even though it was not my preferred location.
• Overall the whole process took quite some time, spanning about 4 months, but it was worth it and well structured.
