Status: SDE at Series B startup in LA
YOE: 2 years and a couple months
Position: SDE2 Alexa
Location: Seattle

Virtual Onsite:
4 rounds, 1 hr each, no lunch break, ~5min between each for bio
I don't remember all LPs exactly sorry.

Round 1:
LPs:

• How did you prepare for this interview?
• A discussion on LPs and which LP did I find most curious?
  Tech:
• Design a car valet service (basically parking lot)

Round 2:
Tech:

• You are given a (potentially large) List of words. Some of these are compounds,
  where all parts are also in the List. Example List:
  [rockstar, rock, star, rocks, tar, rockstars, super, highway, high, way, superhighway]
  The task is to identify all combinations where one word is a composite of two or more words
  from the same list and print or return them.

Round 3:
LPs:

• Tell me about a time you weren't satisfied with status quo, what'd you do about it?
• Tell me about a time you disagreed w manager?
  Tech:
• Design Battleships the game (didn't have to worry about game loop)

Round 4:
LPs:

• tell me about a time you delighted a customer
• tell me about a time you address a root cause
  Tech:
  System design: Design Fandango (err one of those movie showtime website stuff)

Result:
Was contacted by recruiter 1 week after onsite.
