Recruiter reached out to me for SDE 2 role at WeWork.
Round 1: OA
3 DSA questions (easy, medium and hard) and few MCQ questions on general programming
Was able to solve 2.5/3 DSA questions and all mcq's correctly
Round 2: Technical Interview (1 hr)
- DSA - Product of array except self. Also, not allowed to use division operator
- DSA - https://leetcode.com/problems/house-robber/description/
- Discussion on projects
Round 3: HLD (75 min)
Problem statement: Design a code deployment system
(This was the one of the most uncommon and difficult design problem. However, I came up with a decent design somehow in the end)
Round 4: HM round (With the CTO) (1 hr)
Discussion on the HLD of the projects in my resume
Asked lot of cross questions in the design and the network communication between the services mentioned in the design
Standard managerial questions in the end
Round 5: HR round (15-20 min)
Standard questions
All 5 rounds happened within a week only.
Verdict: Selected for SDE 2 role
