Interview Process:

1. Initial Shortlisting: ~200 students from 4 departments (just a formality as almost all of us were allowed for the OA).
2. Online Assessment: 17 candidates shortlisted for the next rounds (interviews).
3. Technical Round 1 (Elimination around - 6 to 7)
4. Technical Round 2 (Elimination around 3 to 4)
5. HR Round (Elimination around 2 to 3)

Technical Round 1:

The interviewer showed great interest in one of my projects, which we discussed for 15 minutes. Then, I solved a standard LeetCode question—rotating a matrix by 90 degrees.

Technical Round 2:

This round, held a few hours later, was the most relaxed and friendly. We had engaging discussions about technology, recent developments, the SORA launch, MKBHD's video, and potential traffic solutions. I was also asked to solve a problem about chocolate wrappers: If you have 100 chocolates and can exchange 3 wrappers for 1 new chocolate, how many total chocolates can you eat? (Answer: 149). I implemented the solution in C++.

HR Round:

A brief 5-minute discussion covering standard HR questions, such as three things my friends like/dislike about me.

Throughout the interviews, I made sure to ask questions, particularly about GenAI given its current relevance.

Compensation: ₹9 LPA fixed + Up to ₹1 Lakh joining bonus

Note: My interview experience was relatively easy, thanks to the interviewer. Several of my friends faced more challenging DSA problems and puzzles.

Tip: Focus on practicing matrix problems, SQL, and puzzles.
