Hi Guys,

I have recently appearerd for the SF Platform Cloud drive today. My first round feedback was positive. But for the second round my code was giving the wrong output and I ran out of time while debugging. Feels like I missed an easy question. Knew the approach but messed up a few bits checking conditions. :(

Round 1 Question was to convert a string from one format to another. Pretty Straight forward. [45 mins]

Round 2 Question was Game of Life from leetcode. [45 mins]

I explained the interviewer my approach and he seemed satisifed, asked me to write a pseudo algo and he was satisfied. After writing the code too he agreed it seems okay. But I made a few mistakes while checking and that costed me the time and the output. His hints were also not helpful.

The HR has told me that this round is mixed. We are waiting for the hiring team's decision, apparently they will do a meeting and then decide. I don't know what this means is this a reject or am I on hold.

She said there might be another DSA round next based on the HM team's decision. I dont know what to interpret this as. Does anybody else have similar experiences or know what is this?

Update : Called the recruiter up and he said 2 out of 5 candidates who were on hold made it to the third round after the HM discussion. I was rejected as the other people scored more.
