Just did my first onsite today and got rejected.
This is the question:

its not hard, but very very tricky with so many edge cases. i have never done this question before + seeing that its just counting the freq of the characters initially make me not spending way too much time into thinking about what potentially are the cases am i missing

also i did mostly tagged questions and this one is not on tagged so oh well.
i communicated well, but i think they dont like that i dont handle edge cases well? :'(

after my first onsite, interviewer told me to wait for HR contact after a few days, which means rejection.
