Applied through careers page and recieved OA link.

OA - 2 DSA questions, system design case scenario questions and leadership principles questions.
(Solved both DSA problems and others also went quite good according to me)

2 months later, recieved a call from recruiter mentioning that I had given an OA with Amazon recently, so they want to schedule an interview for SDE 2 role. It was for a team based out of Chennai location.
However, the interview was going to be onsite in Amazon's BLR office on 19th Oct, 2024. (Interviewing team came from Chennai office to conduct the interview that day)

Round 1: DSA

1. Alice and Bob are playing a game. There is an list of n integers. Both players can select some integers, add it to their score and remove it from the list. Alice goes first and then bob goes and the game continues untill the list is not empty. Both the players play optimally, what can be the minimum value of (A-B) [A is alice's score at the end, and B is for Bob]. Additionally, Bob is allowed to change the values of some integers by at most k. He can only add, and not decrease the values.
2. Medium level Priority queue question
3. leadership principle questions (10-15 min)
   (Was able to solve everything in this round)

Round 2: Problem Solving

1. Leadership principles (20-30 min)
2. Boundary traversal of a tree
   (Was able to solve everything in this round)

Round 3: HLD

1. Leadership priciples (20-30 min)
2. HLD of BookMyShow (focus on booking part, handling lot of customers at same time)
   (Leadership principles didn't went good, so i was panicking, eventually messed up the HLD part as well)

Round 4: LLD

1. leadership Principles (30 min)
2. LLD of splitwise
   (This round went quite well)

Verdict:

Recruiter called me after 2 weeks, saying that HLD was not that good so they can't give SDE 2. However, I was offered system development engineer role instead. (I declined this offer)
