Interview Process

Round 1: Online Assessment

3 DSA Questions based on array, two pointers, heap (one each)
Time : 70 mins

Round 2:

General tech knowledge
Questions around everything mentioned in CV
Overall project architecture
Time : 45 mins

Round 3(Loop):

1. System Design Round (HLD)
   • Implement Payment wallet
   • Must have GOOD knowledge on microservices architecture
2. DSA :
   • Overall knowledge of different data structures and internals
   • One situation based question where its expected to come up with your own customised data structure to solve the problem
   • One DSA question (medium) implementation then its optimisation(medium hard) followed with time and space complexity

Time : 60 mins(each round)

Verdict: Rejected

After one week I received a rejection mail where no feedback was provided as its against their company policies. Although one of my friend appeared for the same role but their recruiter provided a detailed feedback. So its not company policy it depends on your recruiter.

Suggestions:

1. Good knowledge of payment systems
2. STRONG Hands-on knowledge of microservices. Tradeoffs in microservices architecture
3. DSA round was not so difficult I think I got rejected at system design round
