I received an invitation for this opportunity through Naukri.com. The interview process consisted of three rounds, as described below:

Interview Process for Software Engineer - Java

  • Round 1: Online Interview (60 mins on Teams)
    This round focused on evaluating my technical expertise:
  1. Microservices Architecture – Discussed its principles, advantages, and challenges.
  2. API Design – Questions on designing RESTful APIs and handling edge cases.
  3. Object-Oriented Design – Explored OOP concepts and their real-world applications.
  4. Coding Question – A practical problem based on Collections Framework using List and HashMap.
  • Round 2: Online Interview (45 mins on Teams)
    This was a deep dive into my resume and professional experience:
  1. Project Discussions – In-depth discussion on my past projects and their architecture.
  2. Day-to-Day Work – Explained my daily tasks and contributions to my team.
  3. Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) – Discussed SDLC phases and how I approach them in my work.
  4. Test-Driven Development (TDD)
  • Round 3: HR Round (30 mins F2F)
    Basic HR Questions
  1. Stress Management
  2. Team Management
  3. Why you want to join us ?
  4. Communication skills – Assessed through general discussions and scenario-based questions.

Final Verdict
During the HR round, we also discussed salary expectations and my notice period. Despite clarifying these details at the very beginning of the process, no offer letter was released after the interview.
