Interview Process
There were only 3 round in the interview process. Below I have shared my experience in those rounds.
HR Screening Round - Duration = 30 minutes.
This round involved a basic introduction and an overview of the company, as well as a discussion about my profile. After the introductory part, I was unexpectedly asked some technical questions related to the Go programming language and Linux commands. Here are some of the questions I can recall:
Home Assigment - Duration = 4 hr.
I received an email regarding the home assignment, which includes detailed questions to be implemented in Golang. Instructions for the system setup will be shared separately before this round. Unfortunately, I cannot disclose the questions as instructed by the recruiting team. But if you are familiar with GO and basic Machine Coding understanding, the question will seem be on easier side
Technical + Product Discussion - Duration = 1 hr.
This round of interview was with the Director of Engineering and a Senior Product Manager. They each asked questions for about 30 minutes. The technical discussion primarily focused on Go channels, Elasticsearch (in which I have prior experience), Amazon DynamoDB, and Kafka (again, I have prior experience in this area). Overall, the discussion revolved around the technology stack mentioned in my resume. The conversation with the Product Manager was more centered on company culture and values. They also asked standard HR questions.
There were times when I had to follow up for feedback, as there were no updates for 7 to 8 days. However, overall, the recruitment process was seamless and a positive experience.
