Overall it was a positive experience. It was a virtual interview, so for the mostpart, most of that interview anxiety that I normally get was gone since I didn't have to physically interact with a person.
First of all its going to be a long day. In my case I had to meet with 4 people, with a 1 hour break in the middle, so the entire process took 5 hours.
Interview 1:
This was with the hiring manager. I have a strong feeling he did not like me. We just didn't click and we had the opposite spectrum of personality. He asked me some problem with deleting from a binary tree. I got the all the cases except when a Node has both a left and right children. I didn't even get to coding it, but he gave another problem regarding merging 2 sorted lists, which I was able to deliver fast.
I don't think he liked me and I felt this was a bad start to the interview. I think his review will be negative about me.
Interview 2:
This was an engineer on the team I was interviewing for. Friendly dude and was able to answer both his questions regarding finding Medians in an array and his followups.
I think the interview went well during this round. He really like my approach to this problem.
Interview 3:
This was all Leadership principle rounds. I had stories prepared and felt a positive atmosphere from this round.
Interview 4:
Bar Raiser. Had my stories prepared but he gave me a hard recursive problem which was hard to understand. I managed to solve the problem but I needed a ton of hints. I'm sure I didn't do great this round, but I know I didn't know I did bad either.
I feel like Interview 2 and 3 went really well and was positive, I'm not sure about Interview 4, and Interview 1 will probably be against me. So I feel like its about a 50-50 chance right now.
My status is Pending at the moment, but will keep you guys updated.
