Hello LC community,

I'm excited to share that I recently interviewed with Intuit and received an offer!

Screening Round:

  1. LC Medium with an OO Solution: Intuit has a reputation for favoring Top-K problems. Writing object-oriented code here was key.

Onsite Rounds:

  1. Craft Demo (90 mins): A solo coding session focused on an API use case. I was able to leverage experience to prioritize essential features for completion within the timeframe, with an interview partner on hand for timing and questions.

  2. Panel Interview (60 mins with 3 members): Each panelist came from different teams, and they were friendly yet focused on deep discussions around problem-solving and implementation. I had about 10 minutes to present myself and showcase an interesting project, including Q&A. I then shared my screen to walk through my implementation.

  3. Technical Deep Dive (45 mins with one panelist): This focused on scaling the APIs I created, with added use cases and some coding.

  4. Follow-up Interview (45 mins with the second panelist): We covered follow-up questions based on the craft demo.

  5. Behavioral Interview (30 mins with a senior panelist): This was mainly about culture and fit.

Overall, it was a fantastic experience with a supportive and engaged team. The interview process was challenging but enjoyable, and I never felt stressed.

Thank You.

  • Keep leetcoding
  • Read system desigin books, brush up your API crafting skills, you got this !!!
  • You might wonder where are the algo questions ? The DS question were asked while explaining the craft soltion and during the next followup interviews. You need not write the entire algorithm (depends on the time in my openion), but you would have to explain in theory and your probable approaches for that including psudo code.
