I recently interviewed for an entry-level Software Engineer role at Microsoft, and as there are not many posts talking about NA experiences, I thought I’d share my experience. I recieved a callback about 15 days after I applied and scheduled a technical screening a week later where I was asked to solve the Top K Frequent Elements problem. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the offer even though I gave the most optimal solution, but I hope my experience can provide some insights for others preparing for Microsoft interviews.
