Round 1 - Hackerrank Round

3 questions in total

1. String manipulation, easy question
2. Implementation of throttling, medium difficulty
3. JS/UI Question - Implement stack and queue in vanilla HTML + JQuery. Medium difficulty

Round 2: Technical 1

Frontend focussed round
Was asked questions related to browser, DOM, JQuery etc and very esoteric questions about React JS

Emphasis on vanilla tech rather than framworks or libraries

Round 3: Technical 2

3 part question. To be implemented using vanilla html, css and jquery
Each question built on the last question and gradually became more difficult

Round 4: HR

Was asked question related to personal projects and why I want to switch. Interviewer was not convined on my reasons of switching. I guess this is why I was ghosted

Verdict: Mutual rejection

I was mentally prepared to tell the recruiter that I am not interested. However he ghosted me, so I never got the chance to decline. So a mutual rejection

From my side:

• The company has lot of negative reviews online. Talked to some current employees, got mixed opinions.
• Moreover the recruiter was a pain to work with. He constantly kept scheduling interviews with another (college graduate) candidate with the same name
• Recruiter used to schedule interview rounds without even asking my availability
• Some rounds were rescheduled

Overall I did not get a very good impression of the company
