Entire process was very quick, Placement Cell invited AMD for a drive on Thursday and we had the Online Assessment on Monday.
Out of 210 applications, only 35 were shortlisted
For SDE roles, only CSE guys were picked with CPI >= 8.5 and strong scores in 10th and 12th

For embedded roles, only ECE guys with relevent profiles were picked, that too with a strong CPI

Assessment had a mix of aptitude, CS fundamental MCQ's and 2 programming questions; which was common for all roles.

Based on other campus hirings, they focus heavily on pointers, memory management and Operating Systems.
MCQ's were based on C++, although programming questions could be attempted in Python as well.
