Got an email to schedule Initial Phone screen.

Phone Screen:

• Tell me about yoourself and why Bloomberg(10 mins)
• A problem similar to https://leetcode.com/problems/number-of-islands/ - I was asked to walk around the code, dry run and explain the functions. (40 mins)
• Questions for the interviewer(10 mins)

The interviewer said recruiter will contact me in few days.

Today I received an email that I was rejected.

My thoughts...

The interview actually went pretty well and I was confident. Had a good discussion about the problem. The interviewer sounded pretty impressed. I am still unsure why I got a reject.

This was my first interview with Bloomberg. Should I mail for a feedback?
