Allen Digital (Recro) | Software Engineer | Bengaluru | Rejected

I got a chance a chance to interview at Allen Digital (Recro) for SDE-1. It consisted of 2 rounds - LLD (2 hours), HR.

Round 1 (LLD - 2 hours)

It was from BarRaiser. He gave me the following problem -
Design a quiz management system with the following features:

1. Questions (MCQ, Integer Type, True/False)
2. Each quiz have multiple questions
3. Each subjects can have multiple quizes
4. Each quiz can belong to multiple subjects
5. User authentication (students, instructor, admin)
6. Students can answer the quizes and get a score
7. Instructor can see a leaderboard for a particular quiz of a subject
8. Students can attempt the quiz multiple times and see the attempts
9. Insert, Update, Delete quiz, question

I did what I could in around 1.5 hours, then I went through my designs. I missed the part where students can attempt the quiz multiple times so I couldn't do that feature.
He went to discuss about the db design for this. I also messed it up a little.
Overall, I felt that 2 hours felt really less compared to the amount of features I had to implement.

Result

After a day, I got my rejection email.
