hey guys , I applied for Senior Soft Engineer at Motive , formerly keep truckin.

Experience was not great , recruiters ghosted without giving any information about the rounds ,
They setup my HLD round 6 but it was cancelled as well without much feedback even though all the rounds went well, here is my experience about the interview process :

Round 1--> HR screening : 20 mins call

Round 2 --> 1 HOUR Hiring Manager Round : Asked about the work experience , was asked DB design ticket booking system.Round went well , after that got calls for further two rounds

Round 3 --> 1 HOUR DS/Algo round : LC medium 2 question

Round 4--> 1 HOUR DS/Algo round : LC medium 2 question

Round 5 --> 1 HOUR Real world coding interview , asked to integrate real world API into the project, you have to keep ready your dev environment for this round , looks difficult but was decent, interviewer also looked satisfied with the answers.

Round 6 --> HLD --> this round got cancelled

Verdict : Rejected

I don't know mich about the company but I heard they take total 7 rounds of interview , I got an email that my position was filled , i was surprised since rounds went pretty well , even HLD round was scheduled was later cancelled without giving any technical feedback. when asked the same to recruiter which round did not went well , they said real world coding , but that was my strongest round of all , when asked the same to interviewer via linkedin I got the reply that grading is cumulative of all the rounds, so not sure how they grade the rounds.

So i have no idea what happened , they wasted lot of my time taking so much interviews but now closing this chapter, from outside company looked great and have decent reviews.
