I had the Phone screen about a month before the onsite. I was asked 2 questions on the phone screen. Nothing complex about it. Array/Strings manipulation something similar to what I had seen on Leetcode. Another folowup question. 3 days later, recruiter called me saying they liked me and wanted to see me in person @ Cupertino. Onsite, again I had a very pleasant experience. I had in all 4 interview sessions, each with a pair.
First Pair
question: Sudoku solving algo, I was given a piece of paper to write code on...very much similar if not exact as in LC portals.
question: was a puzzle related to choosing the best horse from a set of horses something i didnt clearly get to what the person asked. I thought it wasnt formulated or phrased well, causing some confusion.
Second Pair:
Question: Design question about scale/volume.... how would I handle it. Interviewer had "distributed Processsing" at the tip of his tongue, seemed liked to me. Though i have real world experience and could have anwered really well, again, looked to me like the question was not phrased well. This is all i do on my day-day job at present work
Question: Graph coloring. Picked straight out of LC. I had seen it before, but my bad here, i did not do as well as i could have.....

Post Lunch session:/3rd session
Best interview so far I would say. he appeared to be seasoned developer. The question was on password generation given a set of rules. write function snippets, discuss and follow up questions based on how i solved. I had seen it before on LC (if i remember right). That was the only question on this session. One comment, it is really a pleasure when the person on the other side is experienced and express clearly their question.... i loved this part the best on that day and he wasnt even across the table.. he skyped in from remote... London i believe....

questions on computationl geometry.. v simple write code to triangularise within a polygin given a set of points. again, i wish i had practiced... i knew this, just out of practice... nothing super hard there
Simple questions http vs https, idempotent... what is it sort of....
In summary: The interview was not hard. If i had simply practiced the core questions under 'Apple explore' in LC, just the small/mediums, i would have made it. But the experience made me feel real good ,coz i walked out with the feeling, I can easily crack it, with a little practcie, just playng with LC portal alone...you dont even have to go outside of that... Yes, i will return with a bang folks, i really mean it... Thx for reading thru, assuming you did :) mantra.... just practice. dont get disssuaded with what people say abouy it negative... This is doable with a liitle practice
