Hi All, \n\nI appeared for IC5 Meta full loop. I recieved positive response from Coding and Behavioral rounds. \nHowever, I am asked for additional round on System design. I am being assessed on Infrastructure System design round. \n\nI usually follow below template for System design\n- Problem statement clarification\n- Back of the envelope Estimates\n- High level design (start with simplistic one and enhance each component)\n- Deep dive for each component on how will each component handle scale, latency, fault tolerance, etc\n\nI was comfortable with topic given for system design round, however, by the time I was done with simplistic High level design, my interviewer asked multiple questions, I answered those and it was already 45 minutes. \n\nAs an IC5, I am expected to be proactive, however, I asked questions to interviewer if he wants me to zoom in into any specific component, does that mean I am not proactive?\n\nWhat is the expected template from Meta. I struggle to go though all optimizations I have in just 45 minutes.
