I am excited to share my journey of applying and getting selected for the TCS Prime profile. Here's a detailed account of the entire process:

Application and Exam

Application Form: I filled out the TCS NQT application form in December 2023.

Exam Date: The TCS NQT exam was scheduled for May 5th, 2024.

Exam Structure: The exam lasted 2 hours and 45 minutes and included the following sections:
  • Verbal Ability
  • Aptitude
  • Reasoning
  • Pseudo Code
  • Coding Questions (2 questions)

Coding Section: For the two coding questions, candidates are given approximately 1 hour to solve them.
Fun Fact: You are not allowed to leave the exam center until the time is up, which can make the last hour quite boring if you finish early.

Results and Interview

Results Declaration: The results were declared on May 25th, 2024, and I was selected for the Prime profile.
Interview Schedule: My interview for the Prime profile was scheduled for July 31st, 2024.
Note: Many students from my college had their interviews in June.

The interview consisted of two main rounds:

  • Technical Lead (TL) Round: Conducted online.
  • The Manager was present with me during this round.
  • Managerial Round: Started physically after the TL round was completed virtually.

  • They inquired about my job offers and what I would do if I received both Ninja and Digital profiles.
