Application process : Arista recuriter reached out via LinkedIn, scheduled the interview for the next week.

Round 1 : Technical Interview

1. C/C++ pointers questions
2. Implement Reverse a LinkedList from start point to end in a linkedlist.
   Ex: (i) List=[10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60] , start = 2, end = 5
   output = [10, 50, 40, 30, 20, 60]
   (ii) List=[10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60], start = 1, end = 5
   output = [50, 40, 30, 20, 10, 60]
   (iii) List=[10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60], start = 1, end = 6
   output = [60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10]
   Write a working code from the start and execute it against all the cases.
3. What is stack overflow, will [ while(1) {} ] will cause stack overflow
4. Basic bits manipulation questions on how to extract ip address from a uint32 bit integer value. (0-7, 8-15, 16-23, 24-31 .. every 8 bits representing the ip-address bits)

Able to solve all the questions and in time, received a call from recuriter about positive feedback from the panel.

Later, recieved a mail from the interview coordinator on thank you for your interest (rejected mail).
Checked with Recuriter, they told as candidate performed positive this year(2024) but due bad performance in the last year(2023) before serving freezing period, the HM panel has decided not to move forward.
In this way, if anyone is rejected any year in the past then there is no point in re-appearing for the interviews post freezing period with Arista Networks.
