So i was contacted by a Microsoft recruiter and linked in and told me my profile matches with one of their job requirements and scheduled an interview.

Interview format was 3 Video call interview (due to WFH situation) and if everything goes well 2 more interview with Hiring manger and HR

Technical First Round :

1. You have NoSql db which stores json object but over the time the db was over populated and each queries is taking so much time , how will you fix or optimize it ?

2. We have text file which has multiple paragraphs, you need to find the count of each word across all the paragraphs and return it as a dictonary with key being word and value being count and sorted in descending word of work count and you should not use inbuilt sort function.

3. If you are developing azure face api, how will be implement ,(like how will be process the image efficiently and show will be store it and query against new images).

The interview was supposed to be for one hour but due to my poor performance it got over by 25 mins.

And the recruited told they wont be scheduling other interviews as my round one feedback was not positive.
