Interview Experience

Round 1 (Online Test, 120 mins)

There were 1 coding questions(medium), 1 C++ debug question(not attended), 5 sql questions (medium + hard mostly window func) and 5 aptitude.

Rest all the rounds were in-office; Need to be present at the given location (Chennai)

Round 2 (Online screening round, Technical Interview, 1 hr )

This was a screening round; the interviewer asked 1 Coding question (difficulty level: easy) and discussed the work of the current organisation. Hard challenge you faced. How do you approached.. etc

Question 1 :
Given a chess board 8x8 matrix and piece X find all possible moves of piece X.
Expected to solve knight moves, other than naive approch

Round 3 (Offline Technical Interview, 1 hours)

It was taken by one of the engineering managers. They asked me coding ques, sql, puzzle. Discussion about previous work experience, why switching, whats you past working experience.

1. Approach explaining .
   Design auto increment feature (multiple sequence at time, with reset).
2. DSA question
   Given a range A to B find all number whose set bit(1) count is prime .
3. Puzzle

4. System Design & SQL.
   Choose apt database for vaccination tracking . - MySQL
   Design schema for same.
   Write a query to find whose has vaccinated only n dose. (n>=0)

Round 4 (Offline Technical Interview, 1 hour)

It was taken by CTO. Normal questions like why switching , whats you past working experience. Whats your carrer goal, Some techinal discussion happened , system design as well.

1. if you were integrating payment gateway, in which scenario you will retry.
2. if you were working in payment gateway team, how do you ensure clients do make unncessary retries.
3. How do you stop, if client retries successful payment.

Design a system for NEET result publishing website. How do you handle quick traffic spike.

Done.

Conclusion
HR informed I have cleared all round. I got offer 2 days later. Accepted the offer.
