I would suggest, stick to leetcode for algorithms, do rush to other platforms or books(CTC) till you have completed atleast 300 problems. Opt for Leetcode premium as it is really worth the money. Mix and match system design and algo while preparing on some days of week to avoid boredom
Updated: I have solved around 300+ questions and It took me around 6 months to prepare. Around 2 to 3 questions a day. I failed in 20 to 30 interviews, before landing up with this. Persistence is the key
There is no perfect answer for SD round. They will give you hint at regular intervals to expand on which side they are interested. I started with a basic diagram of a system. Then expanded each section. Think out loud is the key. Let them know your thoughts. if asked have you ever designed some system? I told them that I haven't but learned by working closely with Tech Architect of my project.
