I am sharing my interview experience with oracle oci (cloud networking team ) .
Previous Experience - SDE 2
Experience - 3.5 years
In total there are 6 rounds .

Screening round taken by IC3 -> Merge interval pattern question, was able to code in own editor as asked, followup questions on my project what Prod issues handled and how troubleshooting are done.

Round 1 - (HM round, got swapped with DSA round as interviewer was unavailable ) ->
Discussion around the project currently working on.
what Design patterns used.
How we handle prod issues and how we avoid those to happen in future.
Any initiative taken by me within team.
Any innovation done apart from day to day work.
Challeneges faced during the work and how I overcame that.

(Round 2 by IC3) -> DSA and Design Round ->
Asked to solve stock by and sell type of question on hacker rank console.
2sum problem.
Followups on 2sum.
What is Rate limiter.
Design rate limiter ( have explained using leaky bucket algorithm, interviewer was looking for tokenization algorithm but he was OK with the approach)

(Round 3 - DSA by IC3 (this was supposed to be round 1) -
Reorder list question (LinkedList).
Foolow up on the question, TC and SC.
Questions related to microservices and the services I developed.
How we are handling the fault in system.
AWS related question from SQS and dynamoDB as these were mentioned in the resume.

(Round 4)- > Open ended (Monitoring and observability) ->
What monitoring tools I have used.
How are those tools being used and beneficial.
How will you design a highly available, scalable and resilient system.
What caching are used in the project, how caching is beenficial and questions around it.
What will you do if system goes down how will you handle these scenarios.
Questions related to networking, what protocols I know and any one used in project (We are using websocket in our project), explained around that.
Cron jobs and how to handle it if it is not running.
DB related questions how to improve DB response.
What to do if cron misses cleaning DB and DB is throttled with full memory.

(Round 5 - Bar tender by IC4) -> It was taken by someone from different team.
Behavioral questions mostly asked.
Challeneges faced in current role.
Any scenario when you were asked to work apart from the given role.
Any initiative you have taken to improve team performance and communication.
Any risk you took and it did not go well how do you react to it and your learnings.

Then the questions started with technical side based on my resume regarding the service I developed, what Infra we used and explain use of those infra.
E2E working of the service.
How do you decide to use SQS as your messaging queue and not other.
polling vs eventing mechanism why you moved to eventing based system from polling.

FINAL VERDICT: Got call from recruiter that feedback is positive and they are going ahead with the offer.
