Got a mail from recruiter to schedule phone screen.
Phone screen(45 min skype call with code share link):
Engineer from software developer team with 4 year experience.

The last Project you were working on?
Coding:
Question1 – Given a list of words and string as input, Identify if that string can be made from the given list of words?
Example : list_of_words = [“what”, “is”, “San Francisco”, “SAP”, “Job”], string – where is SAP located. For this case you should return False. And if there are two occurrences of a word in string but only one occurrence in list_of_words then also you should return False.
Question2:
Find minimum distance of every letter in the given word from a given alphabet.
Example: word = “sustainable” and alphabet = “a” you should return [3,2,1,0,1,1,0,1,2,3]
Explanation distance of s which is a index 0 to nearest a which is at index 4 is 3 and so on.
Cleared the Phone screen, got invite for onsite interview after a week.
Final Onsite:
3 rounds of interview 2 were technical and last was behavioral with manager.
Round 1 (55 minutes approx.)
Questions were:
• Tell me about yourself
• What are Classes and objects ?
• What is the use of final key word in java?
• What is JRE and JVM
• Explain your last project? Problem faces?
• Coding Question: Two sum
• LRU cache
Round 2 (45 min approx):
• Asked me about my projects from the resume
• Challenges faced
• Coding question: Design a stack which has find min feature along with regular push and pop operation the complexity of your solution should be O(1) for push pop and find min in stack.
Round 3: 30 mins with hiring manger
• A chit chat about how it is going
• Explained about the team and the work
• Asked my future goals
• Asked me How you resolve conflicts with your teammate, asked for any situation if which I have faces anything like that
• Asked my expectations
Got reject 3 weeks later……
PS…. This was the best interview I have given in my life with all coding questions answered correctly with java language specific questions. I was confident about this one. This is my 2nd reject this week….. Lets see what happens may be next time is my time :)
