I have applied for the below mentioned program.

Refer this = https://careers.jpmorgan.com/IN/en/students/programs/software-engineer-cohort?search=&tags=location__AsiaPacific__India

I got the OA link immediately.

Total no of rounds = OA + 2 Technical + 1 behavioural

OA:

Had two questions in 1 hour(Easy to medium LC), I don't remember the exact questions but both can be solved using greedy approach.

I got call after some 15 days for the super day

Three back to back interviews of 45 mins with 15 mins beak in between.

Round 1

System design :

  • There was an e-commerce website for a clothing merchant. Due to a sale, the number of people purchasing through the website increased. So, we had to design a system that could handle 50x the traffic.
  • Even, he wanted to add a recommendation system that recommends people to buy a specific cloth.
  • If I remember correctly, the question was to create microservices while keeping the already existing backend as monolithic. However, for some of my friends who also gave the interview, they were even asked to split the monolithic backend as well. It actually depends on the interviewer.

Round 2

  • DSA (Easy LC)
Give the pairs with minimum absolute difference in an array

  • PR review
There is a PR with some code which is ready to merge, you have to add some comments.

Round 3

  • Behavioural
Just normal talk about previous company, work etc etc

Results

They told us they would get back to us within two business days. Oh man, that's not true nowadays. Earlier, people received offers from this program, but they froze hiring through this program, yet they are still conducting these interviews just because they received instructions from higher management.

I was told I was selected, but there are no opportunities open at present.

  • If there were no openings, then why the heck are the interviews being conducted, and also the next cohort is scheduled?
  • It's a waste of time to give interviews with this program right now. If the openings pop up, then it's one of the best ways to get into JPMC.

Anyways, I wish you all the best in your job hunt. Your hard work will definitely pay off. (Even now, I have a hope to get offer from JPMC)

Cheers!
