Got referral from LinkedIn following which HR called me.
All rounds were elimation rounds
Round 1 : Problem Solving
- Medium Leetcode question based on Linked List - was able to provide fully functional answer for this question.
- Hard question based on Trees where LCA had to be used - discussed in detail how to reach the optimal answer, could not code it due to time constraints.
Round 2 : Machine Coding for Expense sharing app like Splitwise
I was able to create all class DTOs and few important APIs as well. In this round discussion and talking while coding is the key (of course alongwith coding in a correct architecture - if you follow MVC or something else keep updating the interviewer)
Round 3 : System Design
Based on my resume the design round was around the HLD design of one of my projects using some online editor like draw.io and I explained everything in detail and he looked satisfied.
Got rejected after this round as i did not know the functionality of a random queue system he asked. Other than that the round was good.
