Each round of 1 hour\nEvery round two people came. Some were shadows and some asked questions as well.\n\n**Round 1:**\n\nStarted with introduction and Why amazon? follow up questions and some LP questions\nProblem:\nLogs are given having timestamp, usedID and messages. You need to find most K freqeuent users. I used hashmap and priority queue and was able to come up with solution.\n\n**Round 2:**\nSomething related to finding last most appeared element in a given array stream [ data will keep on coming ]. Array can have duplicates as well. For example,\n\nInput : 1,2,3,4,5,1,3,4,5\nOutput : 2\n\nInput : 1,1,1,1\nOutput : 1\n\nInput : 1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4\nOutput : 1\n\nInput : 5,4,5,4,5\nOutput : 4\n\nInput : 3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,6,7,8,9,3,4\nOutput : 5\n\nIt took time for me to come up with solution and i asked him for hint though i was going on a correct approach of using hashmap. He gave a hint saying you are on correct path.\n\nFollowed by some LP questions.\n\n**Round 3:**\n\nTotally based on LP and resume. He grilled me alot in depth on my resume. Asked each and every detail of resume projects and past experience. There was an activity where he asked to explain my past projects on white board. He was a manager and many LP questions were asked.\n\n**Round 4:**\n\nStarted in depth about resume projects and LP questions on all principles. \nSystem design questions was on Amazon prime vedio which i think i did well.\n\n**Round 5:**\n\nTwo managers. Asked all questions based on LP and resume. This was best round for me and they were happy on my responses.\n\n**Tips:**\n\n* Prepare amazon leetcode problems [ Check for past exp discussions and see the patten of questions ]\n* Spend much time on LP questions. Prepare two stories for every question. Expect many follow up questions on each of your response.\n* They will note down each and every response of yours. Therefore, none of your response should contradict. Prepare your resume questions/project experience in much depth. If you have really not worked on it, it is not possible for you to answer the follow up questions.\n\nI havent got any decision yet but i do not expect anything since i just went to take a experience of the interview process. They expect alot from you and it is tough to crack such interview [ Sometimes luck matters ]. I would suggest everyone not to take much pressure and just enjoy the interview process.\n
