I had a phone screen round for google. First HR forced me to use X language, that was a first since every one always told Faang is always langauge independent in interviews. I was practicing in Y language for last 2 months, had to switch back to X for the interview. (HR didn't budge about language change).

Interview day:- The question was simple but vague(classic). I understood the problem, since the question was vague, I started asking questions regarding the same and not surprisingly the interviewer was not friendly (indian interviewer, classic) and kept rejecting and making fun of my questions and approach(spoiler alert, my approach was correct).

After 10-15 mins of one sided discussions, I explained my approach, and after his approval coded it. Then he asked why I used this approach, I explained everything.

His reply:- Why did you assume this? (laughs)
Bruh, I kept asking you clarifiying questions, you didn't give af. I had to show you some approach.

Then after reviewing my code, he started asking different scenarios, I answered it too. Then he asked an extension, I answered it too and gave TC and SC. 45 mins over, interview ended.

Now its been 3 weeks and no result, tried reaching hr multiple times, no response. I already know what the result(damn that interviewer) will be but atleast let me know about the cooldown period.

PS: I know that I am not a master in dsa or anything like that but hey I tried my best.
