Directly applied for one of the open positions. Got a call in a week from recruiter for technical screening round.
Technincal Screening.
This round was focused on DSA. She aksed me two medium level DSA question and some follow ups. I was able to solve both the questions and the follow ups as well.
Questions : Array based questions.
Got a call from recuiter that I have cleared the technical screening and she scheduled 5 round of interviews.
**Round 1. **
This was a DSA round and the main focus was on the code optimisation and the quality of the code. Was able to solve both the questions. Questions were leetcode medium level. Could not implement the most optimised solution for second question.
Questions : Don't remember the exact questions, One question was based on matrix and one on binary tree with greedy approach.
**Round 2. **
This was a DSA round and the main focus was problem solving. 2 medium questions. Was able to come up with most optimised solution for both the questions.
Questions : Don't remember the exact questions, both questions were based on binary tree.
Round 3. (Hiring Manager Round)
Discussion on my past and current projects. Some behavioural questions like why linkedin, about my career goal etc.
Round 4. (System design round)
Was asked to design a calender invite service. At the end interviewers went a little into LLD as well, like DB schema and all. This round went well, interviewers were happy with the design.
Round 5. (Technical Communication round)
In this round I had to talk about one of my projects and explain the project to interviewer. Basically it was like explaining a project to a new intern in a team. So had to explain everything in detail, and interviewer asked so many question. Could not cover the whole project due to time contraint. Explained a component of the project in detail. Interviewer was happy at the end and had a clear picture of the component.
After one week got a call from the recuiter that I have been selected.
