Process: OA + 2 Technical Interviews + 1 Bar Raiser Interview

OA: This round consisted of 4 DSA Questions (1 Easy - Arrays, 2 Medium - Strings and Linear DSA, 1 Hard - Tree'Graph). The OA round was held on 26th of July'23 on Hacker Rank in which I was able to solve 2 questions with 100% and a hard one with only 7/15 test cases passed.

Technical Interviews:

1st Round: The results came out and we were informed about interviews to happen in offline mode from 28th Jult to 30th July. The first round lasted for around 1 hour, in which I was pretty nervous as it was my first interview ever. But, at the same time, the interviewer was really helpful and she started off with asking for my introduction in short. To which I answered about myself, background, strength and weaknesses. Soon, she began with personality development and behavourial questions. She also asked few scenario based question related to technical as well as behavourial point of view. Than she moved on to my resume and noticed I had experience with database, so I was asked few SQL questions. Than she asked me to write codes on piece of paper which wre basic like reverse a string without using any functions, concatenation of columns in SQL, etc. She also asked theoratical questions related to OOPS and Cloud Computing, again it was mostly with real life examples and scenario based. After that we were asked to wait and after waiting for around 5-6 hours, the shortlist came and I was selected for the next round.

2nd Round: The next round was also offline, quite serious and fast. As soon as I entered the cabin, the teacher asked me about my strengths and languages I am comfortable with. I told him I am pretty good with SQL and databases, he started to draw 4-5 tables on a piece of paper and handed me the paper and started off with his questions related to Joins, their complexities, etc. Next, he also asked coding questions related to STL (Hashmap and SET) and he made me write down all the codes with pen and paper from header to return, as he didn't agree for me to just write the functions. At the end they would ask for if we had any questions for them for all the rounds, and to all I asked the same, what should I improve about myself, and stuffs related to the interview.

3rd (Bar Raiser Round): The next day I was called out for the third round to which I didn't expect and was really nervous. As it was supposed to be an HR Round but they conducted to a bar raiser interview in which they were supposed to ask tougher questions, and same happened. Everyone who came out of the cabins were with sad faces. My interview started with questions related to my resume, my projects related to AI/ML, and web development. I answered in detail, than he moved on to DSA. He started asking theoraticcal questions about Linked List, why should we choose linked list over vectors, etc. How to identify a cycle in the linked list, I answered in detail about the hare and tortoise method, than he asked me about the slow and fast pointers, more DBMS questions. And finally he asked few puzzle questions, in short namely it was the handshakes in a party and water jug problems.

RESULT: To my surprise I got selected with 10 other boys and girls. It was a really happy and proud moment. I got placed on campus in my 2nd interview (1 online with Scaler).
