Over the last 7 years, I've done Google onsites 3 times and have always come close but not been able to totally crack it. A recruiter reached out to me to interview again and she mentioned that if it doesn't work, I might need to take a longer break. I wanted to hear from people here if they think that it is possible to get in on a 4th try. Would HC count the failed attempts as something that goes against me? Given we all agree that interviewing requires a bit of luck, it makes me nervous to grapple with the finality of this and I wanted to open it up to hear from you guys if you know about people who have been able to crack the onsite after a few attempts :)
To give some context, I work in one of the FAANGULT (whatever the newest acronym the cool kids are using these days) so I don't think it's just a matter of not being smart or prepared enough and I'll be focused the next few months on doing extrenous prep, but I just wanted to hear other people's opinions and success stories that could potentially encourage me!
