About me: College tier1 , Experience 2.5 yrs
I got a chance to interview for this L2 software engineer position after I gave an assessment on Hackerrank. The questions asked were 2 medium and 1 backend based question where you have to process a JSON. I did the two coding questions and wasn't able to do the backend question. Don't remember the questions but second one was based on binary-search.

In the coding round , the interviewer mostly asked me about my experience and projects. And then some questions related to OOP were asked like difference between abstract classes and interfaces. Some backend questions like how can you implement API retries. In the end when 20 mins were remaining he asked me to code for a simple question.

Verdict: Rejected after 2 days.

Probable reason: I don't understand but maybe because I
didn't answer backend related questions properly.
